The leadership behind WLOU 104.7 FM JAMZ and WLLV 1240 AM is built on decades of broadcasting experience, community involvement, and a deep understanding of the cultural impact of local radio.

At the center of that leadership is Archie Dale, a respected broadcasting pioneer whose journey in radio began through gospel music ministry and community programming. After forming the gospel group Archie Dale & The Tones of Joy, Dale entered radio through a local program on WLOU — a path that would ultimately shape his lifelong commitment to broadcasting and community engagement.

In 1982, Dale began operating WLLV as a gospel station, helping establish the station as a trusted source for gospel music, preaching, teaching, and inspirational programming throughout Louisville. His leadership continued to expand after joining WLOU management, where he helped oversee the growth and preservation of both stations through multiple eras of media evolution.

Supporting the leadership team is Bill Price, a longtime WLOU executive and recognizable on-air personality whose voice and presence have become deeply connected to Louisville radio culture. Alongside Price are accomplished business and community leaders Kevin D. Bruce and Swannie Jett, whose expertise in business development, healthcare leadership, and community empowerment further strengthens the organization’s vision and long-term impact.

Together, the leadership team is focused on honoring the historic legacy of WLOU and WLLV while positioning the stations for the future through digital expansion, community partnerships, multimedia innovation, and continued investment in authentic local programming.
